On April 18, 2020 we start our first season of Astoria Sports Softball! Below are some details for the inaugural season:
Location: Queensbridge Park
Dates: Opening Day is Saturday, April 18th. All games will be played on Saturdays in the spring.
Game times: Dependent on how many teams we have. We are currently slated to begin at 9:00AM. Last game of the day is expected to start at 5:45.
Duration of the season: Six regular season games plus playoffs (for teams that qualify) Dates for the season will be:

April 25th
May 2
May 9
May 16
May 30th
June 6th
June 13th (rain makeup weekend if applicable)
Playoffs: expected to take place on June 20th and June 27th
How to sign up: Our in person signup night(s) will be:
Tuesday, March 10th at 3308 Eats N Drinks (33-08 Broadway, Long Island City NY 11106)
Wednesday, March 11th at Rivercrest NYC (33-15 Ditmars Blvd., Astoria)
Price: $50 during the sign-up night (includes a team dri-fit shirt)
Notes: We will be using leagueapps. Additionally, we will be integrating in outside umpires to officiate games.
